LIVING IN THE NOW

It is either the past of the future. Never now. We live in our past carrying it. So heavy, worry, fear, anticipate the future never just be the present. That the hardest. We either regret the past or miss it. Why? Because we never lived it fully. Every present is never lived fully. That’s why we don’t enjoy moments.

In every present we sulk. Just sulk. The absence of something or loosing what you have. We want to possess it. Possess the present. But we cant. And that’s the fun. Don’t possess it. I am glad we cant. We would die if we tried to possess the present. It would lead to so much monotony.

We are never able to live in the moment also because we are always searching searching. Searching blindly don’t know for what, why, no just searching directionless aimless.

There is nothing out there that we can find search inside. You will find the universe. But we cant accept that. We search everywhere BUT inside. The search takes us further and further away from the answer. Because the answer is within. Its like a mad person being really hungry, he just wants food. Doesn’t know what and why. Just food. No matter how much he eats he’s not going to be full. Because his physical thirst and hunger can be satisfied not the emotional, spiritual and mental hunger. We all have depths, but try to feed only the superficial. Like the physical. Not the root. Feed the root. The root of hunger and the hunger will not drive you crazy. Feed your purpose of being in existence. Don’t just run. Run with a quest and a plan. Run with a meaning and an intention.

Search is external as well as internal. External search is quite uderstandable, all of our spiritual masters guide us to control it and look inside. But the internal search can also be a run for the mirage. Many have searched and not achieved. The internal search is more demanding on body, mind and soul.

Everyone therefore must have their own way to find realization of their Self.

It is the day when all the searching stops. That is truly living in the moment.

If the search of the soul ends the quest and purpose of life ends.
the souls purpose and quest never end.it goes beyond this life and lifetimes of searching healp us find that journey.

I agree with you Sheela,if the search of the soul ends , the purpose of life ends. I do not think that searching ever stops as Anonymous says.

So true and so beautifully written by Sheela.
