Why were marriages created? … Somewhere between the primitive man and our great-great-grandfather, marriages were created to protect women and children. Why??? I don’t know! How can it possibly protect them? It may have been created to give families a structure, and to ensure fidelity in relationships. Norms and rules were put into place to create harmony. The same marriage is now the main cause for disharmony. Have we changed? Has the institution become too old for us? Do we really need protection? Or do we get trapped in the name of security and protection??? If marriages were meant to protect and give security, why is everyone hoping to get out of it?
We give way too much importance to the social validation of marriage. A signed contract; a registered commitment, and after that a sanctioned or registered separation called divorce. Why does divorce have to be on paper? Isn’t an emotional divorce bad enough? Why do we wait to be divorced in court? If you really see, most of us are divorced. How many husbands and wives are only living an arrangement? Living a lie? Then aren’t those legally divorced better off?
Why don’t marriages last forever? Were they meant to last forever? Was the magic and bonding supposed to last forever? How do we know what God wants us to do and what God’s will is? Maybe his focus is to teach us our lessons…these experiences teach us virtues like love, acceptance, compatibility, trust, giving and more giving. But we fail to see what he is teaching us. Every relationship has a life span like the relationship between a parent and an infant. Once the infant grows up, the dynamics change and when it becomes an adult, it changes again. That’s how marriages are; that’s its nature. Firstly, they are created by us. Secondly, they exist for a purpose. That’s it. After which it's over. Most people say that it lasts for the survival of the species. But maybe it’s there to teach us aloneness. Maybe to teach us that we came alone and we will go alone. Maybe two people create disharmony over long periods of time. Nothing is forever. Only plastic is forever.

WHAT ARE WE ALL DOING??
SOME THOUGHTS ON LIFE
The universe was created first, then the primitive man and then the creatures, whichever order each one was created in. Then, the man created the world he wants to live in. He designed it to meet his needs and comfort. He depletes the resources of the universe to satisfy the needs of his creations. Man spends his whole lifetime creating and modifying his world to be perfect. Generation after generation he continues doing the same. Makes toys, then new toys and then better toys. Home, workplaces, cars, phones, computers etc., all these to help him pass him time. He was born for a reason but uses these toys to pass his time. He spends all his time doing this and does not know why. We all are so self absorbed running our respective races that we don’t ever know why we do what we do and what we want out of it. What is our purpose? What are we trying to achieve? Nothing? Then, why run around without knowing? Everyone is just passing their time, just finding toys to keep them occupied. Why do so many people find peace in spirituality? We are all so busy playing with our real toys in our real world that we have no silence inside. We have no knowledge of the purpose of our life. But when we turn in, we get in touch with silence and quietness.

WHY IS THE SOUL RESTLESS..WHAT ARE WE SEARCHING FOR....
WHY IS THE SOUL SO RESTLESS
We all seem to go through highs and lows all the time. Not knowing why. Is it excitement we want? Love? Money? Success? Why do we want success? What will we do with it? It gives us a high for a while, but we don’t stop there, do we? No way, we have to get more. It’s like drinking water. Do we drink enough for a whole lifetime? But success is different. It gives us an illusion of rising. Does it make us fall? It does, in a way. We become a slave to it, so we fall, and it gives us many negative traits as well. This is the case with most of us. Ok, a lot of things give us negative traits. So, let’s not make success seem wrong. It’s good. But after becoming successful, why don’t we stop there? We just go on and on and on. It never stops.
What are we trying to fill? One’s ego, greed or just a void? Or all? I think mostly the void. How hungry all of us have become. We have no time or inclination to give love. We only want it for ourselves. We can’t get it from humans (family) because we don’t want to give. So how do we expect it in return. How shallow we have become, expecting love from inanimate and lifeless things? We have stopped valuing love in its true sense. That’s why the energy from success is a never ending thirst. We are running after an illusion. We feel so miserable. We feel that we are not loved enough. But have we just focused on giving? No! We are all conditional. We give, in order to receive. And only that works. Love being unconditional is rubbish. That’s only a fantasy not real. It lives in our mind and storybooks. Maybe even in the movies. Everything is conditional. It’s all about ‘us’. Me, Mine, I. What are we doing? What do we want? Are we that insecure? Can’t we just be pure? Trusting the Universe, that it will provide for us. Just live in the abundance of giving and receiving. Why are we so frozen? Unfreeze and be selfless from our center. What is our center? Our heart. Let’s radiate warmth and love. Pure love. And we will unfreeze. Unfreeze others with our own love. Call it divine or evil, it has a power of its own.
I have never understood whether that’s good or bad. It can change mindsets, people, and everything while it lasts. So why is it so complicated? Love is a power. It’s a force. It transforms everything. Some times the situation remains the same but the understanding or perspective changes. So let us love. Let us stop wondering what it is, and love. Love is a force. No matter how much we write or talk about it, we can never understand it. So just use it like energy. Use love to change our focus, our perspective. Look at life in a deeper way. Why do I run behind all the things that I run behind? What void am I trying to fill? What insecurity am I trying to love and feed with fame? So, is being ambitious wrong; is running behind success wrong? No, it’s the reason which should change.

Tarot
Each one of us face crossroads in our life. We keep blaming our failure on destiny. Is there any such thing as destiny? I'm sure there is! That’s why our life takes huge turns and we get back to something that was meant for us. But we forget that we have something so precious as choice, which can bypass destiny. We keep creating and recreating our life. Walk on the road that life shows you. Jump, when you see a cliff. We will never know if we have wings until we jump. I've seen many who have jumped and have found their wings to fly.
